Well, June came and went but virtually no rain came. 🙁 Rainfall was just 30% of normal over the whole country but I’d say, it must have been only 10% of normal here in Coolwater Garden.
The picture above is of a prolific flowering peony Karl Rosenfeld and the exuberant plant below is an Edraianthus from Bosnia.
This Rebutia cactus, above, from Argentina is our most reliably performing cactus and, Surprise” Surprise” our Opuntia fragilis, which was was bought in 2010 has eventually flowered after 11 years. 🙂
Trachycarpus fortuneii, below, with a superb display of flowers this summer.
