Sitting in the Cabana in the West Garden, we enjoy company with an eagle and a Roman emperor, although we’ve no idea which emperor he is.
Recently we’ve added a terracotta pot to the area, sourced from a scrapyard for €2 and an urn that appears to be quite old.
These give interest in the winter garden when a lot of foliage has fallen. Also, shortly after these pictures were taken, we planted about fifty foxgloves among the ferns.
